We also process business contact data of founders, investors, mentors, scouts and other ecosystem participants that is obtained from public company websites and directories, professional profiles, startup and funding databases, and licensed third-party business contact providers that supply B2B email lists and investor/startup information for outreach and lead generation.

How We Use Information

We use this information to operate and improve the TD Ventures platform, including: matching startups with investors and scouts, enabling referrals and introductions, providing startup intelligence, sending transactional messages about your account or activity, sending relevant product and platform updates, and complying with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We process professional contact details only to the extent necessary for these purposes and in a way that is consistent with your role in the startup ecosystem.

Legal Basis and Email Communications

For users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we rely on legitimate interest as a legal basis to process professional contact data of founders, investors, scouts and other ecosystem participants, where the processing is necessary to operate our B2B platform and to send you relevant information that you can reasonably expect in your professional capacity.
